Rambling thoughts

I worried about keeping a blog. I knew I couldn’t keep it up. Yet, I vow to do better in the coming months. Things have gotten busy with work and the home front.
I was in Colorado last week for leadership training. This training was one of the best training in my life thus far. It was worth every penny. Thanks to my hubby’s support we were able to scrap up the money. We were in the mountains of Estes Park, Colorado, 90 minutes from Denver. I’m currently working on a piece regarding the training and my experience.

Niece’s 2nd Birthday

Sienna turns two this month. My parents will be coming in from Puerto Rico to visit. Boo and I will be going up to Queens, New York for a visit. I will be baking this year’s birthday cake the theme Backyardigens. Sienna favorite character Pablo (she pronounces it Pabo) is the going to be the cake. I had a heck of a time finding the darn cake pan but I found it on e-bay. The things we do for our kids or nieces.

Doll Houses

I have been building a small scale doll house from a kit. Like I don’t have enough hobbies I got this kit to see if I would like miniatures and I’m hooked.

  1. I'm so impressed with the things you do! You are awesome girlie!! Glad you were able to go to Colorado for the training... how the heck to you get up those mountains with out "Strong Like Bull" to push you up in the chair???
Bill heard from Dan a few days ago and I know he misses you terribly, hope he is able to get out the end of the month and get a good job back home to be with you!! Big hugs coming your way!!

  2. I took my walker so my classmates drove me around.
